Dans les petits et moyens formats, l’artiste aborde le mouvement et les lignes du corps, La dichotomie ombres/lumières suggère l'intensité dramatique des scènes, l'arrière-plan qui représente le corps de ballet ou le décor est traité par un système de fines hachures qui dessinent des silhouettes immobiles presque fantomatiques.
Le velouté du trait et les fines hachures suggèrent l'épaisseur atmosphérique et donne au dessin un effet proche d’une estampe.
Les grands formats sont une Recontextualisation des éléments chorégraphiques et scéniques à partir de différentes séquences (actes) du ballet. C’est une nouvelle annotation chorégraphique et spatiale à travers le dessin. Chaque dessin est une nouvelle histoire, une nouvelle intrigue.
L’intensité dramatique des mises en scènes est accentuée par la dichotomie ombre/lumière tandis que les éléments architecturaux créent une charge émotionnelle qui transporte le regardeur a travers un effet visuel spectaculaire. Walid Lemkecher, a contemporary French artist, uses his paintings and drawings to create narrative stagings that take viewers on a captivating journey. Influenced by dance, cinema, and the world of spectacle, his artworks are characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a rich visual storytelling.

Throughout his career, Walid has received numerous awards and accolades for his exceptional artistic contributions. These include the Private PM DUPUY/SDFA prize, a Bronze Medal Diploma at the Metz International Fair of Fine Arts in 2023, and the Fernand BIVEL Private Prize at the Salon des Artistes Français in 2023, among others.

Walid's works have been featured in prestigious exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Some of his recent exhibitions include The Salon French Artists/Art Capital in 2024, the 65th Fine Arts Fair of Cormeilles-en-Parisis in 2023, and the International Fine Arts Fair of Metz in the same year. He has also participated in exhibitions in Japan, such as the National Art Center Tokyo Japan - Salon d'Automne France Japan in 2021.
