Le velouté du trait et les fines hachures suggèrent l'épaisseur atmosphérique et donne au dessin un effet proche d’une estampe.
Les grands formats sont une Recontextualisation des éléments chorégraphiques et scéniques à partir de différentes séquences (actes) du ballet. C’est une nouvelle annotation chorégraphique et spatiale à travers le dessin. Chaque dessin est une nouvelle histoire, une nouvelle intrigue.
L’intensité dramatique des mises en scènes est accentuée par la dichotomie ombre/lumière tandis que les éléments architecturaux créent une charge émotionnelle qui transporte le regardeur a travers un effet visuel spectaculaire. Ainsi, les formes et les espaces se délimitent, les personnages se dessinent dans une infinie Impression de détails.
Grâce à une mécanique répétitive du geste de la main qui n’est cependant jamais la même dans son intensité, l’artiste joue aves la pression exercée sur le support papier par l’intermédiaire de son crayon pour aborder des valeurs et des nuances du plus clair au plus foncé donnant ainsi à ses dessins un aspect délicat et raffiné d’une grande régularité qui nous renvoient par leurs effets plastiques aux gravures du XVIIIe et XIXe siècle.
A partir d’un procédé de traitement en trame de traits verticaux comme des files qui tissent, les dessins ont un effet ressemblant à une tapisserie murale. Les lignes courtes, continues ou discontinues donnent une sensation de vibration, de rythme, de précision et flou à la fois créant une certaine tension.
