I was born in 1946 and now I'm 77 years old. When I was 11 I entered the school of arts. From 15 to 18 I studied at school of applied arts. In 1976 I  graduated from the Book Illustration department of the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. I started drawing seriously after I was 40. Before this I had experience in advertisement, design, book graphics. The sphere of my hobbies and interests is wide enough. First of all it is painting, graphics, sculpture, landscape design. In the arts I've started out as a hyperrealist. Then gradually, consciously I moved to abstractionism. Gerhard Richter is an example for me of such transformation. I believe that abstraction experience has to be puten on a fundamental academic basis.

I live in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since February 2022 the life has been shared on "before and after". It's hard to imagine that war could inspire. But art has to react to calls taking place in the world. My qualified reflection on this call was the personal exhibition “Signum temporis" at the Central House of artists (Kyiv, Ukraine) and in three months "Signs and sensations".

Life should go on, the war will end, and I'm trying to reframe what's going on. Currently I'm working on the new series of artworks "Rebirth". Sooner or later EARTH should heal itself.
