"Still life" is an ongoing project of mine, based on the inspiration of the PET bottles. During the project I create drawings and sculptures, as an artistic research. By making drawings of the compressed PET bottles my goal is to keep the exact form, as kind of a "portrait" of them. The environment pollution is one of the biggest problem of our time, and these bottles are became a symbol of that. We don't know how they are going to look like in 500 years, but right know, these little objects are important in our life.
Further thought of my portrait like drawings leads to abstract pictures, and brings dynamic to the static bottle's form. In my paintings I try to display unusual compositions, that makes us think differently about the very common object.
The first layer (light colored area) of the painting is phosphorescent.
