Peintre figuratif, je travaille principalement à l’huile. D'abord marqué par les couleurs du sud de la France, puis par les paysages du littoral breton, je privilégie toujours la peinture sur le motif et l'immersion dans l'ambiance d'un lieu, l'atelier étant plutôt dévolu aux natures mortes et bien sûr à la gravure. Quel que soit le sujet, l'atmosphère du lieu, les lumières du moment, l’alliance de la forme et de la couleur, me portent et guident le tableau. Parmi les différentes techniques de l'estampe, c'est la linogravure polychrome que je pratique maintenant exclusivement depuis plus d'une dizaine d'années. Proche du bois gravé, j'apprécie son synthétisme et la pureté de ses tons. Peignant depuis l'enfance, je participais dès 15 à 18 ans à mes premiers salons d'arts plastiques ou concours de peinture sur le motif. Depuis, j'ai participé à de nombreuses manifestations artistiques, salons, expositions collectives ou individuelles et reçu plusieurs prix ou distinctions. Mes plus grandes inspirations viennent des paysages des côtes de Bretagne et plus particulièrement actuellement de la côte de Pléneuf-Val-André à Erquy, de Crozon, Carantec, ou encore des iles telles que Belle-Ile, Bréhat ou Batz.
