Stella Burggraaf is a Dutch landscape painter who lives near Amsterdam. Born and raised in the north of Holland, Stella draws her inspiration from the region's distinctive wetlands and coastline. Her deep connection to these landscapes is evident in her work, which captures the essence of the Dutch atmosphere with its wide views, reflecting clouds on water, muddy fields, and windy beaches.
Stella graduated from the Wackers Art Academy in Amsterdam in 2003, where she honed her artistic skills and developed her unique approach to landscape painting. Most of her paintings are created in her studio in Westknollendam. Rather than simply recording the actual landscapes, Stella's works are impressions of the scenes as she perceives them, infused with her personal vision and interpretation.
Through her art, Stella creates her own landscapes in a straightforward yet evocative manner. Her paintings are a testament to her ability to convey the serene and expansive beauty of the Dutch countryside, offering viewers a glimpse into the tranquil and reflective world she cherishes.
