Ho realizzato centinaia di graffiti durante la mia cariera di graffiti writer lunga trentanni. Nei miei graffiti ho evoluto le lettere rendendole mie, creandone di mie. Ho quindi realizzato questa serie di quadri, raffigurando le varie lettere con diversi stili. La S è la lettera inizziale del mio nome d' arte ( SAND ) ed è quindi per me come un logo, un marchio. Qui si sviluppa in verticale assumendo forme metropolitane. Giocando con lo spessore delle forme della lettera ho creato dei volumi dalle forme di palazzi che ricordano la città di New York. In questa metropoli sono nati i graffiti negli anni settanta e quindi ricreare un ambientazione arricchisce il graffito. In questo intreccio di binari e di palazzi ho inserito dei dettagli per personalizzare ulteriormente la composizione. Nella parte bassa su di un tetto dei ragazzi scaldandosi con un fuoco, si allenano a ballare la break dance, ignari che poco più in la su un altro tetto una affascinante donna bionda sta prendendo il sole. Ma le cose più stravaganti succedono ai piani alti dove altri dettagli ci fanno scorgere degli alieni su di un tetto e King Kong in cima all' Empire State Building, intento a spruzzare con una bomboletta spray. A coronamento in alto sulla sinistra il cartellone luminoso con la scritta SAND, che è una sorta di firma dell' opera.
