Salvatore Avallone is a passionate photographer. Drawing inspiration from nature and scenes of everyday life, we can also read the influence of Jacques Henri Lartigues, Edward Weston and Bill Brandt. He has   met the Malagasy land, a world full of images and dreams, which he somehow tries to capture with his shots.

The human presence is almost a constant in his photos, like the author's signature at the end of a novel, like the human being as testimony to an encounter.

Salvatore Avallone was born in Italy. He lives and works in Madagascar. His work has been awarded numerous prizes such as the Ilford Paris, France Jury Prize in 2013 and his photos have been the subject of numerous publications in France and Switzerland (Corridor Éléphant, ZEITPUNKT, etc.).
