Autodidact my artistic expression is shared between painting and drawing. Drawing quickly became for me the means of expressing my imagination, of creating universes on paper inspired by classical painters (Jerome Bruegel, Hieronymus Bosch) as well as more contemporary ones. The interest of my works lies in the visual, ideographic expression, i.e. the meaning that a drawing can evoke, a story which is not written but drawn.
However, my drawings do not seek to be explicit in their representation. They serve as supports for everyone's imagination, where everyone can capture and construct their own story. Although influenced, my works can be read on several levels. They contain multiple details leading the viewer to look at them as a whole and then come closer and immerse themselves in my world. The interpretation of a work consists of retracing the artist's journey in reverse (the artist starts from an idea to ultimately produce a work. The spectator, for his part, starts from the work to decode the initial idea). It is with this idea that I have fun blurring the lines. Juxtaposing sometimes incongruous, disorienting, questioning elements so that everyone can re-interpret, dream, discuss, debate the probable meaning of my drawing.
