An exclusive work of the famous Ukrainian artist Bedzir Pavlo from the series of graphic works "Life of Trees", for which in 1996 the artist became a winner of the regional award named after Joseph Bokshaya. It is the most famous and the longest-running series of works. It is the most famous and the longest lasting series of the artist's works, which identifies him as an outstanding master of graphic art in Transcarpathia and Ukraine.
Pavlo Bedzir's talented pieces of art have been exhibited at the best exhibitions in many countries of the world. Works of the painter are kept in many museums of Ukraine, as well as in private collections. In 2016, a museum-workshop was opened in Uzhgorod, the artist's birthplace, where his best works are collected.
BEDZIR Pavlo (1926-2002) - Ukrainian artist, painter and graphic artist. Particular part of his works are created in monotype and grattage techniques.
Born in Kalyny village in Transcarpathia. Graduated from Uzhgorod State Art and Industry College (1946). Teachers by profession - A. Erdelyi, A. Kotska, F. Manaylo, E. Kontratovich. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1968). In 1950-1960s in Uzhgorod around P. Bedzir formed an informal "club of avant-garde", which brought together Transcarpathian artists, as well as artists from Lviv, Kiev, Riga and Leningrad. Was friends with A. Gorskaya, S. Paradzhanov, T. Yablonskaya, G. Yakutovich, G. Ostrovsky and others. Was married to the famous artist E. Kremnitsku.
Participated in regional, national, all-Union and international exhibitions - 1968, 1969, and 1989 - in Hungary, 1972 and 1974 - in Slovakia, in 1976 - Romania. During his lifetime had two solo exhibitions.
Her works are in National Art Museum of Ukraine, Joseph Bokshaia Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, Museum of Modern Art in Kherson, as well as in private collections in Ukraine and Russia, particularly in the collection of Tatiana and Boris Grinev.
In 2001, Lesya Keshel made a documentary film about Pavel Bedzir called Four Elements. In 2016, the Museum-workshop of Pavlo Bedzir was opened in Uzhgorod.

He was persecuted by the Soviet authorities for his free-thinking and atypical way of life (from harassment in the press to arrest for keeping forbid den literature).The most famous and lasting series of his works, identifying him as an outstanding master of graphic art in Transcarpathia and Ukraine, was a series of works titled "From the Life of Trees". He made his first monotypes with trees in the late 1950s, and from 1980s to the last days of his life this subject remained the leading one in his creative work. In hundreds of graphic sheets dedicated to the world of trees, the artist in a philosophical and metaphorical form sought to depict and comprehend the eternal problems of human existence.
