Nathalie Pelisson explores the “Big" and the “Small" immersing miniatures in seascape representing limitless expanses. Through the composition of her paintings, she explores themes such as love, family, friendship or freedom. She likes to say that the Ocean and the Sea look like a boundless expanse that can reflect our impulses, our fears, our loves... That's the reason why people have always been fascinated by Water. Her work aims to tell the story of this fascination. But not only.
With her popsicle series, Nathalie started to tackle other themes more concerning such as climate change, rising sea, and society.
