L'alchimiste Sculpture by Sergeff

My father passed on to me his attraction to art from a very young age, as well as a deep respect for artistic artisans. I started painting at twenty years old after leaving the Gauguin museum in Tahiti. Then I felt the need to tap the stone, but also to feel the material under my fingers, hence my job as a rock worker (Creation of decorative objects in mortar). It is from this technique that I I also make my sculptures and I never make any castings, each piece is unique.

"From a block of gray and cold concrete I am going to bring out something from my unconscious, which has never existed, unique in the universe, something never imagined since the world was world. will come out of this block, it will exist because I am going to create it."
