My entire working career has been in the world of aviation. As a pilot I flew military and civilian aircraft. In the British Royal Air Force I flew the Jaguar, Hawk and Harrier jets and was a pilot in the Red Arrows display team. As a civilian pilot I flew the Boeing 747 "Jumbo" jet. My aviation themed paintings were all inspired by my experiences as a pilot.

Throughout my life I have always enjoyed creating drawings and paintings. The creative process can be relaxing as well as frustrating but it is ultimately very rewarding. I am entirely self taught and now that I have retired from flying I am enjoying the time and freedom to paint. I originally painted in watercolours and created many works with an airbrush. During Covid I painted exclusively in acrylic but since the beginning of 2023 I have switched to oil, painting on a variety of different mediums.
