Since moving to Florida, I have a fascination with palms, palm fronds, and plant life that is so green and verdant.
The tropical and unusual shape of all palms trees color are calming and reminiscent of vacation times.
Many in this series was shot at night, and lit by an on camera strobe. The trees take on a haunting and magical expressing they have their own mysterious lives after the sun goes down.

Since moving to Florida, I have a fascination with palms, palm fronds, and plant life that is so green and verdant.
The tropical and unusual shape of all palms trees color are calming and reminiscent of vacation times.

Biography
Photography is inherently an unreal perception of time and space. Once an image is "captured", we have to ask ourselves, which is more real, the photograph, or the actual memory of the moment in time.
To create something that never existed before is a uniquely intimate and personal experience. For some, photography may be about making sense of the world.
For me, creating images is the way I connect with a higher power, the invisible force that connects to everything, and the pure spirit of life.
I created Blind Spot Fine Arts to showcase my years of artistic pieces. My goal is to sell work for licensing, as well as original prints for sale. My fine art imagery sells to corporate and commercial designers, architects, hotel art buyers, and interior designers. Blind Spot also creates licenses of art to larger corporations with needs for contemporary imagery. Clients looking for art for commercial and corporate spaces, real estate developments, retail spaces, restaurants, and images for commercial products will find a fun and sophisticated collection of fine art at Blind Spot. “I chose the name Blind Spot Fine Arts because photographic art renders the world with more than the eye can see; it speaks to our blind spots.
My challenge with photography has always been to overcome the objective reality of the camera. Photography is inherently an unreal perception of time and space. Experimentation is one of the best ways to teach myself new ways of seeing, and I span from using the Camera Obscura, all the way up to a Hassleblad MF, the same camera that was sent to the moon.
Fascination with light, long exposures and color make my world a great world to live in.
