Lothar Vigelandzoon is a contemporary French sculptor. Sculptural beauty, inspired by everyday life, plays an important role in the work of Lothar Vigelandzoon. He creates bronze sculptures, using the lost wax method. By using different patinas on his sculptures, he tries to soften the bronze. The realistic colored fruits, as well as the other figurative sculptures, are characterized by movement and balance, and leave enough space for the viewer's imagination.

Vigelandzoon is able to translate an illusion into reality. As a viewer, you'll believe it's all real. You can see it, almost eat it. And certainly you want to touch it and feel it. Lothar Vigelandzoon was born in 1950, in Paramaribo, Suriname. He lives and works in Vence, France. He has exhibited in Paris, Cannes and St. Paul de Vence, Honfleur, New York, London and Singapore.
