Laura Muolo, a contemporary Italian artist, was born in Milan in 1975. At the age of 19, she relocated to Rimini, where she continues to reside today. It was in Rimini that her artistic talent blossomed and matured.

From a young age, Laura felt drawn to drawing and comics, using them as a means to tell her stories. However, she set aside this passion for many years to pursue other endeavors.

In 2013, at the age of 37, Laura rediscovered her love for drawing. It began with creating a portrait as a gift for a friend, reigniting her passion for the art form. From that moment on, she never looked back.

Laura found herself enamored with portraiture and its narrative potential. Initially self-taught, she realized that to turn her passion into a profession, she needed to deepen her understanding of painting techniques. She embarked on a journey of learning, enrolling in courses, purchasing online tutorials, and attending workshops to study and refine her craft. Immersing herself in the world of art, she sought guidance from masters and fellow artists, continuously expanding her knowledge and skills.

Painting became a source of newfound expressive freedom for Laura. Experimenting with acrylics, oils, pastels, and various other materials, she absorbed insights from each medium, incorporating them into her work.

Through her short yet intense artistic journey, Laura found her distinctive style, unbound by academic conventions but fueled by boundless creativity. With numerous exhibitions and awards to her name, she continues to push the boundaries of expression, constantly seeking new means of creative exploration and multi-material experimentation.

Laura Muolo's story is a testament to the power of determination and passion. It serves as a reminder that with dedication and perseverance, one can turn their dreams into reality, regardless of age or experience.
