Merchant mariner who loves painting and writing.  I was born in Tennessee and spent my youth living in different states which instilled a desire to always be in transit.  As an adult the desire to travel manifested in working at sea with occasional hiatuses. Exploring other countries as well as more states within the U.S. I Began painting over ten years ago and found it to be very peaceful and a great way to occupy the mind in a creative outlet. I enjoy painting with oils and various subjects and styles. Be it portraits, landscapes, the surreal or anything else for that matter, my goal is to make the world just a tad more beautiful than when I entered it. Thank you for exploring my art and all art. Art is what connects the human to the divine.
