What the title of my painting says:
The term "residual effect" can have two different meanings depending on the context in which it is used.
In the first sense, it refers to the concept of "remanence" in physics, which refers to the amount of magnetic field that remains in a ferromagnetic material after the magnetic excitation that produced it has disappeared.
In the second sense, it refers to the residual effect of an experience or event on a person's mental, emotional, or physical state or on their environment. We can therefore consider this effect as the long-term impact of the experience or event on the person or his environment.
I find that this definition perfectly describes my painting and what I wanted it to express: the material that crosses time can be interpreted as a metaphor for the traces that we leave behind us and in us thanks to our experiences.
And you, what do you see there? What do you feel ?

This work was created with acrylic and spray paint on a textured background made with joint compound. I used brushes, knives, and sponges.
What my work's title tells: The term "residual effect" can have two different meanings depending on the context in which it is used. In the first sense, it refers to the concept of "remanence" in physics, which refers to the amount of magnetic field that remains in a ferromagnetic material after the disappearance of the magnetic excitation that produced it. Therefore, this effect can be considered as the long-term impact of the experience or event on the person or their environment. I find that this definition perfectly describes my table and what I wanted it to express: the matter that traverses time can be interpreted as a metaphor for the traces we leave behind and within us through our experiences.
And what do you see? What do you feel?
