Embracing the imperfect these innovative creations allow for variations in the individual paint pieces. Flowerbombs are alternative, edgy, and bursting with dimensional colour. Swirling paint petals in orange, pink, and red captivate with their vivid hues and lush textures, evoking the vibrant, pulsating energy of life in bloom.
For the collector who does not like to play it safe.

Australia based UK artist Julee spent years relocating internationally many times. Continually breaking ties and beginning again inspires her technique of deconstruction and reinvention of paint as a material.
Thoughts that paint could be capable of independent existence from the canvas resulted in her process of painting on plastic to enable subsequent removal when dry. Julee exploits the inherent flexibility to explore her interests in textile, collage, and sculptural techniques.
Intricately detailed works are the result of many hours of meticulous cutting, layering and gluing. Ultimately, Julee’s core aim is to generate conversation about the nature of painting and to challenge expectations of what a painting can be.
