Fran Neuville is a contemporary Argentinian painter. The resulting visual palimpsest is elaborated by means of montage belonging to the construction of urban art. Produced by the passage of time, in a public space that is of support to whoever decides to graph. It is a network of signifiers from random sources. Neuville rescues this procedure in some of his works, integrating elements from the field of comics, Cubist renewal calligraphy, taken up by Abstract Expressionism after 1950.
The artist suggests the intervention of a world where one can meet and question oneself at the same time. A pictorial elaboration that aims to approach and intimidate the viewer and that other times manifests the need to be resignified by him, that contributes with his cultural baggage to close the visual codes of the work.
Fran Neuville was born in 1990, in Argentina.
