Iris, est inspirée de la mythologie grecque. Elle est la messagère des dieux, et principalement d'Héra, à l’image de son homologue Hermès, messager de Zeus.
Elle voyage entre le ciel et la terre pour délivrer des messages aux humains.
Elle véhicule des valeurs très présentes dans mon univers intérieur : la communication, la relation entre le ciel et la terre, la liberté.
Iris a de grandes ailes qui la relient au ciel. Légères et translucides comme celles de libellules. La feuille d’or apporte la lumière.
Sur son corps, grimpe une végétation dorée qui symbolise son lien avec la terre. Cette végétation est son unique « habit » car sa pureté d’âme se traduit par sa nudité.
Son visage aux yeux clos nous laisse à la porte de son intériorité qu’elle préserve ainsi du monde extérieur. C’est aussi une marque de pudeur.
Dans Iris, il y toute la délicatesse de la féminité, l’amour de la vie, la poésie et …un soupçon de magie !
