Tausendfach erlebt, in tausend Ausführungen. Die Bandbreite investierter oder durchlebter Emotionen ist schier unermesslich, also kaum zu visualisieren. Ich habe mit meiner neuen Installation „1000 Momente“ das Wagnis unternommen, dieser These entgegen zu treten.
Tausend antike Blätter, kostbar wie die Momente, die sie repräsentieren sollen. Jede einzelne Druckplatte habe ich unter Anwendung einer speziellen Atemtechnik auf mich wirken lassen, um ihr Geheimnis zu ergründen. Jedes mich dabei durchdringende Gefühl, als besonderen Moment erkannt, habe ich sodann durch einen oder mehrere Schnitte dokumentiert.
Das Gesamtwerk spiegelt einen Teil meiner Künstlerseele wider. Es zeigt, wie einschneidend jeder der 1000 Momente für mich war, welche Bedeutung er hatte. Durch das Weglassen von Worten, jenem Korsett vorgefasster Identifikation, biete ich dem Betrachter die Möglichkeit der Teilhabe an, des Vergleiches, der Abwägung. So kann man sich verlieren in den einschneidenden Momenten, die jeder kennt und doch jeder anders erlebt, und deren Gesamtheit – meine neue Installation – wie alle meine Werke zum Nachdenken einlädt. Und zum Erforschen ihrer tieferen Bedeutung.
Die Arbeit ist eine Wand-Installation. Die einzelnen Blätter sind mit Metallklammern an einer Leine aus Metall befestigt. Die Wand-Installation kann auf unterschiedlich großen Wandflächen installiert werden. Insgesamt werden um die 250 Meter Metallleine auf die Wand gespannt und die 1000 individuellen Momente (Arbeiten) daran aufgehangen.
Die Arbeit eignet sich hervorragend zur Installation in einer großen Eingangshalle oder einem Foyer.
Die erste Montage ist im Gesamtpreis enthalten.
