After using paper as a support to place my photographic images on, I now use it as a material capable of being shaped to build an ephemeral, fragile and improbable, poetic and metaphorical world.
I am a sculptor of stories. In a refined visual language, I play with white paper to tell the things of life in the form of compositions with immediate poetry.

Why white paper?
I actually use Canson Montval white paper of different weights for my paintings. Why white? Because white symbolizes purity but also because it allows the viewer to let their imagination run wild. However, I am experimenting with other types of paper, particularly on my installations.

What are your essential techniques and instruments?
My tools are basic: pencils, rulers, scissors, precision cutter (x-acto) and the essential cutting mats, pliers, white glue. Added to this are a few small accessories diverted from their primary function which make my life easier to better shape the paper.

What message do you think you convey through your paper works?
My paper creations tell stories inspired by our lives, expressed in a visual language that I hope is as universal as possible. I tinge them with a flavor of happiness, smiles, daydreams and hope. Paper, with its fragility but also its strength, allows this and I believe in deep analogies between this material and the metaphorical universes that I like to share. What motivates me in reality is being able to arouse maximum emotions in others with a minimum of means.
