Christian Legier est reconnu dans le milieu de la mode depuis 30 ans pour
son travail en tant que designer mode et pour son affinité pour le vintage
et l’upcycling.
La mode, l’art et la musique sont liés à jamais.
Son envie de peindre lui vient de sa passion pour la pop culture et le Street art
qu’il décide de mixer en intégrant l’objet vinyle dans ses tableaux pour raconter
la suite de l’histoire de la pochette.
La pochette de l’album y prend place au centre et se fond dans une interprétation
du hors champs de la cover. L’écoute du disque est fondamentale lors du
processus créatif, l’écoute de l’album est source d’inspiration auquel s’ajoute
des recherches sur l’histoire des musiciens, de la fabrication, de l’enregistrement
du 33T.
La pluralité des visuels appelle à une une poly technicité, ainsi la matérialité de
chaque tableau oscille entre des techniques allant de la peinture acrylique,
au collage, au pochoir selon les albums.
