La imagen forma parte del imaginario típico que caracteriza mis dibujos y composiciones. Seres híbridos y extraños, que generalmente se relacionan con objetos y animales, buscan narraciones ocultas y así denotan un lenguaje visual particular. Estas criaturas posiblemente reflejen mi interés por lo irreal relacionado con la literatura de ciencia ficción, a su vez un mundo fantástico y mágico: surrealista, como también por las formas básicas y tan significativas del arte primitivo.

En la mayoría de mis creaciones aparecen seres o criaturas extrañas, semi humanas e hibridas. A menudo forman parte de una atmósfera onírica y simbólica donde la imagen se impregna de un lenguaje que sugiere narrativas de realidades posibles.

En el dibujo y los grabados calcográficos de chapa trabajo con líneas finas simples y delicadas, las imágenes emergen en el proceso mismo de la creación y van dando indicios de la próxima línea o textura posible. El grabado me apasiona, lo versátil y detallista del proceso, los distintos pasos y etapas necesarios requieren de extrema paciencia y concentración para obtener un resultado final satisfactorio.

Por fuera del imaginario característico de mis obras también exploro la abstracción, la simplicidad e interacción de formas simples y en una serie nueva de monocopias gestuales me dejo guiar por movimientos espontáneos que asemejan pinceladas dando sensación de obra pictórica a la estampa.

En relación a la paleta que utilizo, con frecuencia está basada en tonos pasteles, en el contraste con el negro supremo del grabado le otorga a la imagen una sutileza delicada.
