Formée en architecture à l’Institut supérieur Lambert Lombard à Liège et en peinture à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Verviers. 

Si la faune, la flore et la chasse constituent les thèmes récurrents de son travail, l’artiste confie s’attacher plutôt à « dépoussiérer les scènes de chasse de nos aïeux » et les représentations archaïques, qu’à prendre position ou à militer explicitement, du moins à travers son travail artistique. « Bien qu’elle soit souvent sujet à controverses, la chasse fait partie de notre héritage social commun », précise l’artiste. « Mon travail renvoie donc aux pratiques ancestrales et à la relation entre l’homme et l’animal. Sans créer de polémique, sans jugement de valeur, animosité ou sentiment de vengeance. » C’est au contraire plutôt à la méditation ou à la contemplation, au silence ou à la tranquillité qu’invitent le plus souvent ses œuvres, (...) qui renvoient, à leur manière, tout autant au trophée de chasse qu’à la vanité ou à la nature morte, on ne peut plus morte, même si souvent les images allient une grande simplicité et un effet de puissance, voire de choc.
