Purple is a unique color that has been associated with different meanings throughout history. In ancient times, purple was a symbol of royalty and wealth. It was a rare color that only rich people could afford to wear. Today, purple is often associated with creativity, spirituality and luxury. In a dream, the color purple can have different meanings depending on the context in which it appears.

Anna Levitas-Balabanova, a contemporary Ukrainian artist, has been drawn to creative expression for as long as she can remember. From her early years, she found joy in drawing, sculpting with polymer clay, and crafting poetry, immersing herself in a multitude of creative endeavors. Although her formal education steered her towards writing, Levitas-Balabanova's passion for the arts remained undiminished.
Despite lacking formal training in education for children with developmental peculiarities, Levitas-Balabanova discovered a natural aptitude for working with such individuals, finding fulfillment in this unique form of interaction.
Her artistic process is deeply introspective, with Levitas-Balabanova channeling her emotions, thoughts, dreams, and worries onto canvas. Preferring acrylic paints, markers, and liners, she often explores black and white palettes, believing that color is not always necessary to convey the essence of a piece. However, she remains open to exceptions and occasional experiments with color.
Levitas-Balabanova's approach to canvas size is fluid, as she enjoys experimenting with various dimensions and materials, including chipboards and canvas with a small grain texture. Each painting is imbued with a fragment of her soul, and she approaches them with a profound sense of reverence, considering a piece complete only when it communicates its meaning without the need for words.
Inspiration for Levitas-Balabanova's art is drawn from her mood and the environment around her. She finds creative fuel in every state of mind, whether joyous or melancholic, and draws additional inspiration from her family, whom she holds dear as the cornerstone of her life.
