skull amalgam of recycled plastic objects by Ange contemporary artist / urban / recycler since 1985,
I like this theme that I have already dealt with in my work at different times and periods, skull and crossbones that have been found in all cultures around our land since time immemorial, the symbols are lost and reinvent.
here the subject and treated with heterogeneous objects like supermarket bag, end of toy, corks, pieces of packaging of white colors forming on the whole the skull but in detail underlined in black a multitude of characters and animals and objects such as a, watch, men, dogs, a cat, a monster's head, an eye, stars, portraits, sun, spiral,
this is a satisfying piece of work

I paint of course everything and above all I paint,
since my early childhood, at the age of 14 I have become aware of the dangers of pollution and climate change since I created my works with recovered objects, but especially the plastic that I thermoform and amalgamate to intervene with colors and sometimes I insert automatic mechanisms and/or sound lighting as well as playful interactions with the public, since the ;origin of my art (80s) I am an avant-garde precursor of these artistic techniques.
urban artist since the 80s and actor of free figuration affiliated with the school of Nice, I also do mail art since 1979.
Rat d'art
Culture is a kind of cheese, a big cake with holes. But these holes, you have to 1/find them 2/get into them. It's not obvious. Ange is a rat, he has a pointed muzzle, a moving nose, hair and whiskers. His eyes are both confident and distraught. It is a city and country mouse. Culture, for him, is that huge piece of disgusting Swiss cheese or sugar with underground (art) galleries, corridors, nooks and corners and traps with springs, fearsome mouths of fags to smash. the column of little mickeys. Ange hangs around, he scavenges, he picks up the crumbs. He laughs with the debris.
