Drawing on the other side of an envelop.
I’ve been keeping some envelops that were adressed to me, unfolded them and now it’s my new surface to create on.
I like to reuse paper I recollect, even more to use it in another way, even more because they’re envelopes.

Alison Vignault, born in 1991 in Courcouronnes, is a multidisciplinary artist based in France, working mainly in the fields of photography, drawing and volume. Having spent her adolescence in China, she drew from this multicultural experience a source of inspiration for her artistic work.
Her artistic training began at Prép'Art Paris, where she studied preparation for public art school competitions from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, she joined the TALM Higher School of Art and Design in Tours. , where she graduated in June 2019. Since 2020, she has worked in Gagny, continuing her artistic exploration.
Alison's work explores the nuances of the human experience and social condition through inner turmoil and external interactions. Inspired by the complexity of human relationships and the relationship between the individual and their environment, she seeks to capture these dynamics through her creations.
Primarily using photography as a starting point, Alison explores the trace of the gaze and presence in space, creating imagery that sometimes borders on abstraction. His works express deep introspection, inviting the viewer to reflect on the nature of identity, communication and human connection.
His artistic style, influenced by artists such as Vilhelm Hammershøi, Rachel Whiteread and Nan Goldin, is characterized by its minimalist abstraction and its ability to capture the essence of human emotion through simple but evocative shapes and compositions.
