As the artist, I present "Mermaid, Submerged Serenity": a mesmerizing depiction that delves into the ethereal world beneath the waves. At the center of the canvas stands a nude woman, her back turned to the viewer, her face obscured from sight. She is immersed in the depths of the water, surrounded by an aura of mystique. I am a Ukrainian artist, but I have lived half of my life in Europe.
I paint because for me it's a kind of meditation in which I lose track of time, designing and creating a whole new world that no one has ever seen before.
Portrait is the most congenial form of art to me. It is incredibly interesting to observe people and visualize their actions and behavior, transforming them into images that can be depicted on canvas.
Portraits of women are my special love. Women are ambiguous, mysterious, magic lurks in them. It's a bottomless world, like the rabbit hole Alice fell into. My paintings are not about female beauty, they are about her inner world, which is inhabited not only by angels but also by demons
Sometimes I paint landscapes and flowers It turns out easily. Probably, painting them, I just relax :-)
