I ventured to the most remote country, where the Bondi Icebergs Pool, located adjacent to the renowned Bondi Beach in Sydney, captivated my heart. The Icebergs Pool has been in existence for over 80 years, initially created for surf lifesavers. Equipped with an artificial heating system, it allowed them to train even during the winter months. Today, it is open to all who seek its solace.
For me, this place beckons me to return, where nature and human ingenuity intertwine in a beautiful dance, complementing each other. The gentle Pacific Ocean waters splash against the pool's edges, adding their own harmonious notes to the symphony. The pristine white cliffs, the vibrant emerald greenery, and the refreshing turquoise ocean create a mesmerizing scene. Swimmers power through the water with their robust strokes, blending with the sun's rays and the ocean's embrace on one side and contrasting with their sun-kissed bodies on the other. It's a place of strength and inspiration. If there's such a thing as a perfect pool, this is it.
The painting illustrates that with unwavering determination, all dreams can be realized. For several years, we harbored dreams of visiting this distant and enigmatic country. Throughout this time, life's challenges and the state of the world continually posed obstacles, suggesting that it was impossible under current circumstances. But is there anything truly impossible for a person when they genuinely desire it? It's as though the universe begins to lend a helping hand. The painting serves as a reminder that one should dream big and boldly.

Alexandra was born in 1987 in Samara. She graduated with honors from Art School No. 1 in Samara and later pursued her passion by completing a degree in Interior Design at the International Design School (IDS) in Moscow. Her artistic journey has taken her to both national and international exhibitions, including "Art and Sport" at Omelchenko Gallery in Moscow and "Old and New" at the Artplay Design Center in Moscow in collaboration with the Apartment S Gallery. This year, she is set to participate in the "Open Studios" program at the Vinzavod Center for Contemporary Art. Additionally, her upcoming exhibition, "Just Summer on My Mind," is scheduled to be held in Miami, USA, in April 2023, in partnership with Artseeker USA.
Currently based in Moscow, Alexandra's artistic mission revolves around the theme of surfing, aiming to portray the beauty of a healthy body and its boundless potential. She sees surfing as a harmonious blend of physical prowess and inner spirituality, a pathway to self-discovery and a transformation of thoughts, ultimately leading to a brighter life.
Her artistic approach centers on capturing the sense of flow experienced by a surfer riding a wave. This feeling expands horizons, fostering authenticity and self-belief. Her paintings are characterized by a sense of airiness, which creates space for fresh thoughts and ideas, inviting a dialogue to commence.
Alexandra's artistic aspirations extend towards becoming an integral part of the global surfing community. She seeks recognition, hopes to curate a solo exhibition, and wishes to delve deeper into her artistic philosophy. Alexandra firmly believes that her works have the potential to motivate more individuals to nurture their talents, explore the new, embrace physical well-being, and ultimately find greater happiness.
