My work is inspired by the tradition of classical painting and the possibilities of image creation using digital techniques. I am not tied to a specific topic, but rather work in series with different techniques and thematic focuses. For me it's also about gaining a new perspective and finding new types of imagery. My digital works always convey an analogue, painterly tonality. This means that they are not too perfect and clean, but rather have breaks and cracks. By adding soft painterly effects and illusionistic stylistic devices, a unique mix is created.
