About
Em 2021, a ARCOlisboa celebra o seu 5º Aniversário, que representará um momento de reencontro físico com a arte contemporânea na capital portuguesa. De 13 a 16 de maio, Lisboa será novamente um dos focos artísticos e culturais mais interessantes e cativantes da Europa, contando com a participação de galerias, colecionadores, curadores e outros profissionais representando instituições, museus e centros de arte.
Mais do que nunca, esta nova convocatória apresenta-se como uma oportunidade para experienciar de forma única a história, a arquitetura e a luz da cidade. Descobrir novos artistas, novos lugares e novas pessoas, é esta afinal a grande motivação da ARCOlisboa.
Mais de 70 galerias nacionais e internacionais participarão na ARCOlisboa 2021 para mostrar a vibrante cena artística de Portugal em diálogo com propostas interessantes vindas de todo o mundo. O Programa Geral, composto pelas galerias selecionadas pelo Comité Organizador, voltará a ser o eixo principal da feira, tendo como sua essência a qualidade dos conteúdos apresentados. A este, somam-se os programas comissariados: a muito bem sucedida secção Opening, que este ano crescerá com a participação mais galerias, e África em Foco, que proporá descobertas cativantes aos colecionadores e amantes de arte africana.
A ARCOlisboa incorpora também uma secção especial dedicada às publicações de arte contemporânea, organizada por Arts Libris, e incluirá um programa de conferências e conversas sobre arte e colecionismo que, mais uma vez, vai converter a ARCOlisboa num espaço de intercâmbio de ideias e projetos participado por profissionais e colecionadores de renome.

What happens after I submit my invitation request?
Upon receiving your request, we’ll check our current stock for available invitations for Arco Lisboa. If we have available invitations for your chosen fair or exhibition, we will directly send one to you. Should we find ourselves without an immediate invitation, we’ll reach out to the event organizers to secure additional ones.
Is receiving an invitation guaranteed after I apply?
While we have partnerships across numerous art events and endeavor to fulfill all requests, the reality is that invitations are highly limited. Consequently, we can’t promise an invitation to every applicant. Requests are honored on a "first-come, first-served" basis, and we strive to serve our community of art lovers and collectors as best as we can.
What if the invitations are all claimed?
Should we be unable to grant you an invitation due to depleted stocks, we will guide you on how to access the event, including information on purchasing tickets for Arco Lisboa. We’ll also provide details on any preferential access or discounts that might be available to our community.
